What LoveWatch is, what it is not, and the rules for using it

These terms govern your use of LoveWatch (lovewatch.live). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them.
What LoveWatch is — and is not
LoveWatch is an AI companion chat that replies with short AI-generated videos. Be clear about what that means:
- Your companion is not a real person. Every message and every video reply is generated by software. Any resemblance to a real person is unintentional.
- LoveWatch is not therapy, counselling, or medical care, and is not a substitute for any of them. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
- Nothing is guaranteed to be accurate. AI-generated replies can be wrong, inconsistent, or odd. Do not rely on them for factual, financial, legal, or medical decisions.
- Availability is not guaranteed. The service is under active development; features may change, break, or be in early access, and the service may be unavailable at times.
Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use LoveWatch. By creating an account you confirm that you are. LoveWatch is romantic and suggestive but never sexually explicit, and we do not make an adult version of it.
Telling you it is AI
Every companion on LoveWatch is software. We say so, repeatedly and on purpose:
- a notice at the start of every session, and again roughly every three hours of continuous conversation;
- an AI badge on every generated video, plus a machine-readable marker inside the file itself identifying it as AI-generated;
- this page, which you agree to when you sign up.
If any of that ever feels like it is in the way, that is the trade we have chosen. We would rather be obvious than immersive.
Plans, credits and billing
There is no free plan beyond what this paragraph and the next describe. Every new account gets a seven-day trial: unlimited text, capped at 50 messages a day to stop abuse, plus 30 welcome credits granted once after you verify your email and pass an anti-abuse check. Those welcome credits expire seven days after they are issued.
When the trial ends you keep your companion, your memories and your relationship, and text drops to five messages a day until you subscribe. Those five a day are the only free allowance that lasts.
Paid plans are Starter $9.99, Pro $19.99 and Ultra $39.99 a month, granting 400, 900 and 2,000 media credits a month. Yearly billing charges twelve months for the price of ten; the credits still arrive monthly, and each month's credits expire at the end of that monthly credit period (a month on from the day it started, not the calendar month) without rolling over.
Credits pay for outgoing media only. Text chat is included in the subscription and costs nothing. A five-second video costs 20 credits. Replaying something already generated is free, and a generation that fails returns the credits it reserved.
This section lists what credits can be spent on today. Anything not listed here cannot be bought and is not billed for; if we add a paid kind of media, it will appear here before it can be charged.
Credit packs of 200, 600 and 1,600 credits can be bought by active subscribers. Purchased credits never expire and survive cancellation. If a purchase is refunded, the credits it bought that are still unspent are withdrawn, and any of them already used are taken from the next credits you receive. When you spend, the credits that expire soonest are used first.
"Unlimited" text means unlimited under fair use: past 100, 200 or 400 turns a day depending on your plan, replies slow down to one every twenty seconds. At twice that allowance (200, 400 or 800 turns) replies pause until 00:00 UTC.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and purchased credits stay in your account afterwards. Payment is handled by Waffo Pancake on its own hosted checkout; your card details never reach our servers.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping its credentials to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in settings; deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use LoveWatch to:
- attempt to generate content that is illegal, or that sexualizes minors in any form — this results in immediate termination and, where the law requires it, a report;
- attempt to generate sexually explicit material. It is outside what this service does, and working around the filters is a violation in itself;
- harass, defame, or impersonate real people;
- probe, overload, or interfere with the service, or access other users' data;
- resell or scrape the service.
Photos you upload
If you build a character from a photo, you are telling us that the photo is yours or that you are authorised to use it, and that the person in it is an adult who has agreed to this use. Do not upload a public figure, and do not upload someone who has not agreed. Uploads pass through face detection and are restyled before anything reaches the video model; we reject what fails those checks, and we may reject an upload without explaining exactly which check it failed.
Reporting something
A shared link carries a report control on the page it opens, and it needs no account: whoever was sent the link can use it. Three reports from three different people take that video down automatically — there is no queue to wait in, and nobody has to agree with you first.
Anything else — a message, a video you have not shared, a character — reaches us at support@lovewatch.live. Content can be removed and an account suspended. If you believe content on LoveWatch infringes your rights or depicts you without consent, write to us and say so plainly; we will treat it as urgent.
Content and ownership
You keep whatever rights you have in the messages you write. Video replies are AI-generated by the service for your personal, non-commercial use within the app. The LoveWatch name, site, and software remain ours.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be called out on this page with a new date, not edited in silently. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
