AI Girlfriend That Sends Videos: How Video Replies Work
What an AI girlfriend that sends videos actually does, what a five-second video reply is, what it costs, and how it differs from photos, voice notes and live calls.
Most AI girlfriend apps answer in text. Some add voice notes, a few add pictures. An AI girlfriend that sends videos goes one step further: some of her replies arrive as a short clip of her face and voice, inside the same conversation.
This guide explains how that works on LoveWatch AI, what you get for free, and what it is not, so you know what to expect before you start.
What "sends videos" means here
On LoveWatch, a video reply is a five-second clip of your companion answering what you just said. It is a video message, not a live call:
- You text her the way you would text anyone.
- When a moment deserves a face, you ask for a video from the chat. The credit cost is shown on the button before you confirm.
- She keeps writing while the clip is made, so the conversation never waits on a spinner.
- The clip lands in the thread, ready to play. It loops muted until you turn the sound on, and you can pause, seek and reply while it plays.
Every clip stays in the conversation, so you can scroll back to it later. More detail on the format is on the AI girlfriend video page.
Where she is when she answers
Each companion has six scenes, and a video reply uses the one that fits the moment:
| Scene | What you see |
|---|---|
| Hello | Looking straight at you |
| Morning | Just after waking |
| Café | A cup in frame |
| Rainy window | Chin on her hand |
| Good night | Bedside lamp light |
| Out walking | A tree-lined street |
You choose which reply becomes a video; the scene is picked to match what was said.
Who sends them
There are four companions, all fictional adult AI characters: Mia (32) and Leila (28), and, if you would rather have an AI boyfriend, Leo (29) and Noah (31). Each one sends the same kind of short video replies, of their own face, in the same chat. Faces, voices and messages are all AI-generated, and LoveWatch is for adults 18+.
What it costs
Text chat is free to start. Video uses media credits:
| Reply | Cost |
|---|---|
| Text message | Free |
| Voice reply (about six seconds) | 1 credit |
| Five-second video reply (480p) | 20 credits |
If a video fails to generate, its credits come back.
- No account: you can send five messages to one companion after confirming you are 18+ and passing a quick security check. Guests don't get video.
- Free trial: seven days with up to 50 text messages a day. Once your email is verified, you get 30 welcome credits — enough for one video. No card is needed.
- After the trial: five text messages a day, with your conversation and memories kept.
- Plans: Starter, Pro and Ultra include 400, 900 or 2,000 credits a month, from $9.99/month. See Pricing for the details.
How it compares with the alternatives
| Video replies | Photos | Voice notes | Live video call | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shows her face moving | Yes | No | No | Yes |
| You need to be on camera | No | No | No | Usually |
| Watch on your own time | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
| Stays in the chat | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
A video reply sits between a photo and a call: you see and hear her, but nothing is live, nothing has to be scheduled, and there is no camera on your side. If what you want is specifically a live call, read Free AI video call girlfriend: what actually exists.
Things it does not do
- It is not a live video call. There is no calling and no camera on your side.
- It is not a video-making tool. Clips are of your companion, never made from your photos.
- Not every message becomes a video. Text keeps the conversation going; you ask for a clip when you want one.
